Even3 has two reviewing options: standard and criteria.
To know more about the criteria review, check out the article Como funciona a avaliação de trabalhos por critérios?
In this article, you'll learn how the standard work review works!
First of all, you need to know that the evaluation done by Even3 is double-blind. In other words, the authors don't know who the reviewers are and the reviewers don't know who the authors are.

How does the standard review work
In the standard review, the reviewers will be able to give three types of rating:
- Approved
- Rejected
- Approved with reservations
What happens if one reviewer rates one work as Approved and the other one, rates it not Approved?
The work will automatically be sent to a third reviewer.
How does Approval with reservations work?
Approval with reservations works as follows: If a work is approved with reservations, it will be available for the authors to submit the corrected work. As soon as the author submits the correction, the work goes back to the reviewer who gave the assessment, and the reviewer can approve or not.
The option to approve with reservations is optional. You can enable this option or not.
The participant can only submit a correction if the work is approved with reservations. |
Activating standard review
Access the Submissions menu, submenu Review
Go to the Settings tab
Change the type of review to standard
Choose if the review will have the option Approval with reservations or not
Now what? Now that you already know how the standard review works, learn how automatic and manual distributions work. |
